Oh Dear, A Tygerr in my Living Room

This is how it started, from one innocent e-mail one evening when I came back from work. The next morning, I was having the first coffee of the day, trying desperately to keep both my eyes open, despite the fact I already had a shower and I was ready to go to work. I switched my computer on, first destination is always BBC to read the headlines, while waiting the slow Outlook to open.After reading about the lady who used Anti-freeze to kill her husband, Outlook was on and was downloading my e-mails. A specific e-mail caught my attention, it was her… I need to note that, according to the Chinese Astrology, Tigers are people difficult to resist. They have a natural authority, they are straight talkers, fearsome and warm-hearted. However there is a specific attribute that’s really interesting; The Tigers can be aggressive when trapped, however as soon as they regain their sense of security, they’re set out once again!

The e-mail I received was from Tygerr, a cult figure in our community for more than one reasons. Back in the 90′s she was big in our community for a series of videos about her uber long nails, then she was big in modelling and was featured in the Australian Penthouse, creating a selling record (to date) in the history of the country’s magazine. There is more, opening for the likes of acts such as Alice Cooper, Stryper etc.

Tygerr is now back with more, it appears that both the 90′s and the naughts are her decades. From the mid 90′s she was living in

Las Vegas, and with the help of many friends she began her studio venture into what would become the now titled CD, Bewitch You.

But instead of writing her story, we’d better bring Tygerr herself in the magazine for an exclusive interview with Ann. It’s been quite a few years you disappeared form the scene, we won’t ask why, we’ll ask however what are you up to?

[Tygerr] My new Band Tygerr’s Lair is just ready to back into the studio and record a new version of Bewitch You. We released our first CD June of last year.

We heard your new songs on your myspace, is the CD already out?

[Tygerr] Yes that CD is out and all the songs available for down load right off my MySpace page www.myspace.com/tygerrtiger you can also join our yahoo group on the same page.

Is a new re-mastered version of Bewitches coming out?

[Tygerr] Yes and very soon we are just working around everyone’s busy schedule and trying to fit in studio time when we can.

People have been curious; do you have a personal webpage?

[Tygerr] No, I only have the band page, www.tygerrslair.com where anyone can go and become a member and get all the info on what we are doing, where we are etc.

I particularly loved the word of Johnnys Song, who is writing your songs?

[Tygerr] That was a very special song I wrote for a friend I saw killed. It was my way of honouring her life. I wrote all the songs on the CD we did last year. With the new band everyone is writing their own parts and it is so much better and easier. All my guys are so amazing and talented, I am just blessed with a kick ass band with that all the credit goes to my guitar player Cody Nash who brought in Josh Petersen on Bass and Max Jordan on Drums.

Few things about you, what do you enjoy besides music?

[Tygerr] I am finishing my degree currently in Forensic Psychology, and between that and the band I am actually very busy. I am doing all the work now and it is starting to break so it is getting a bit much some days. Other than that I love to watch movies’, hang at home with my cat and be a bum when I can

Future plans?

[Tygerr] Just get on the road as soon as we can, hopefully get over there and rock the

UK!! We also are working on getting either a 4 song a full length CD as soon as we can. We have an endorsement deal with Basson Sound Gear so we are hoping to get that moving along ASAP as well.

The question that all have been waiting for…do you still have long nails?

[Tygerr] Of course they are…..how can a big cat cut her claws!!

Planning to grow them longer? I noticed from the last video you shot since now they are considerably shorter.

[Tygerr] Well I actually had to get a real job for a while and trim them so they were not too scary looking. Now I am just letting them go again.

Should we expect a visit in the magazine any time soon?

[Tygerr] Honey as soon as I get to London you will be the second place I visit, Pub first J Other than that I would love to be a guest any time you want me.
