Vero Beach holds some of Florida’s most exclusive private golf clubs while it has some of the best places in the country for surfing and the most unique places for diving. This is where this month’s interview is taking us to meet Tonya.

How people react in the sign of such lengthy nails?

People react to my nails like o my god those can’t be your real nails they even tell me to stop lying. 

What made you grow your nails so long?

I have always been able to grow my nails since I was in middle school. the first time I cut them was when I tried out for the volleyball team and made it. 

Your nails look very strong, thick and healthy, how long have you been growing them?

My nails are very healthy,thick and strong as u can see. I keep my cuticle well taken care of. I oil them twice a day so they will stay soft I never get hang nails. 

Ever had an accident (broken nail) and how did you repair it?

Yes I’ve had a broken nail before. it depends where it brokes I glue it back to stop the bleeding if it’s the tip I don’t worry about it. 

What’s your opinion about this year’s “hot nail polishes”?

I’m a fan of all polishes but I like bright colors better than toned down ones. 

Give us an example of the most extreme nail art you ever had on your nails

The most extreme nail art I had was a fish bowl and a spinner but of course I didn’t keep that long (to heavy). 

Ever asked for back scratches?

I get asked back scratches everyday at my job and I tell they have to pay for it. LOL 

I’m sure certain women must hate you for being able to have such long nails eh?

In my town all the lady are use to seeing me so it doesn’t bother them. believe it or not I’m the only one in my town with long nails. if they don’t know me by my name they say the lady with the long nails

What’s the most original complimentary comment you ever heard?

I don’t know where to start with the compliments. all I can say is dome are nice and some are very stupid and dumb.
