Vinyl Meow

USA based model and makeup artist Vinyl Meow, with her big blue eyes, brilliant smile and her hot curvy body is everywhere online! She’s a versatile model and who can easily convey a mixture of looks while on the same time she’s working as makeup artist as well, and you can clearly see the quality of her work in the pictures below. She’s working in a highly competitive market and she still manage to get time for reading, watching horror movies, roller skate dance and clubbing or yea…and play video games too! We had a chat with her, and her personality really surprised us, her libido is definitely bigger than life and a perfectionist, her results in modelling or make up are always tasteful stunning and artistic.
Which part of USA do you come from?
My hometown in Memphis, Tn, but I call Seattle, Wa home now.
How were you discovered?
I wasn’t really discovered. Rather, I’ve been working as a makeup artist for the past 10 years and sort of fell into modeling through that.
So you’re an alternative model, a keen video game player, makeup artist, you draw, you do clubbing, where do you get the time?
I am busy, but everything I do is something I love so I always make time for having fun!
What types of dreams did you have about being an alternative model while growing up?
I never really thought about modeling when I was younger. I always admired alternative models and was more interested in being the makeup artist behind the model. As I got older and developed my own personal style I became pleasantly suprised to discover that I could be an alt model too!
How long have you been growing your fingernails long?
I use acrylic although I could start growing my own nails at some point.
Are you planning to grow them longer than the current length?
there have been times that i have gotten SUPER long acrylics…of course!
What is your definition of beauty?
Anyone who thinks, looks, or expresses themselves ‘outside the box’.
What was your best and worst shoot?
I have beent to some great shoots and every shoot I do just improves! I don’t think I have had my ‘best’ shoot yet. I havn’t really had a ‘worst’ shoot; everyone I work with is great and I feel so lucky to have them in my professional life!
Tell us about your first photo shoot
It really just happened on a whim. I decided I wanted to take some pics of a particular outfit I had after I got finished doing makeup for a photoshoot. The photographer agreed and voila!
That’s some interesting ink you got on you, how many tattoes do you have?
I have 5. Most of my tattoos consist of anime and my own artwork. I am a big fan of manga and comics. I have an anime nurse on my inner lower right arm that is a Hook-ups logo. I have an anime faery by my favorite anime/manga artist Shirow Masamune on my back. I have a neko girl that I designed myself on my upper right arm. I also have a black widow spider in a web on my lower back (I find spiders to be very fascinating) and the kanji for ‘dream’ between my shoulder blades.
What do you think about the controversy in Europe on how skinny models should be?
I think it’s horrible. I think a healthy model, whether she is petite or curvy, is better than a model that starves herself to fit in any day.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
Who knows? I don’t plan that far ahead! But seriously, I would like to see my makeup career really take off more than it has already in the near future!
You’ve been invited to a cocktail party. What do you wear?
A 40’s inspired, form fitting, little black dress of course.
Thanks for the interview and all the best in your career. Any final words for anyone who wants to get in modelling industry?
Take care of yourself, network, and never be a flake!
